The natural world yields a seemingly infinite collection of aromatic substances, chemicals, and compounds to tickle our perceptive organs. Whether we harvest these substances directly from the source or create synthetic replicas, the chemical framework that comprises and inspires flavor would not exist without mother nature. And for that alone, we should bear respect.
Hagelin has been environmentally conscious since our doors opened in 1967. In an effort to ensure our future environmental responsibly and sustainability, implemented a company-wide program in 2010 called “inHarmony.” The mission is quite simple:

The standards of inHarmony are present in all areas of our operations and direct us to use the best methods we can apply to reduce or eliminate negative environmental impact. Hagelin is implementing procedures within the program in stages until we achieve our goal of a completely eco-friendly global operation.

In addition to our efforts, Hagelin Flavor Technologies is also a major supporter and financial contributor to charity: water, a non-profit organization dedicated to drilling wells that provide safe drinking water to developing nations.
